Description
The Flat Anchor is the first of two components that make up the STS flat slab anchorage, which offers a cost-effective and efficient solution to bonded post-tensioning in the construction industry. Embedded in concrete, the Flat Anchor performs the vital function of anchoring the live end of a tendon and distributing stresses within the anchorage zone. The Flat Anchor is also designed to hold both the ducting and grout tube snuggly.
We stock and supply a wide variety of flat anchorage components to suit 12.7, 15.2 and 15.7 mm strand diameters, and can manufacture to meet your special needs by request. Our anchorage products are closely monitored by our dedicated quality team and quality certificates can be supplied on request for each and every delivery.
- All STS Flat Anchors meet AS1830 Grey Cast Iron requirements
- All 0.5” anchors comply with the Australian Standard AS1314 for prestressing anchorages
- Large fins distribute stress over greater area
- Tapered grout hole allows for the fast and secure fit of grout tubes
- Tapered ducting hole with built in stop allows for quick installation of duct without over insertion
